FAQ
We would like to share with you some answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Is there a fee to attend the conference?
Tickets are $30 per person. If cost is a concern, please don’t let that keep you from coming. Scholarship assistance is available.
Who can participate in this conference?
Devoted is a conference for women and girls. You do not need to be a member of Forks to attend. While Devoted is a ministry of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, we are passionate about bringing women and girls from all ages, stages, and churches together for the purpose of glorifying God.
The conference is created with middle and high school girls and adult women in mind. Older elementary girls are welcome if they are excited to attend and able to engage in a full day of teaching and worship.
What is the deadline to register?
Registration will remain open until tickets sell out. In past years, tickets have sold out before the event, so we encourage you to register as soon as you’re able.
Where is the conference held?
The conference is held at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church in Midway, KY. Specifically in the gymnasium of the CROSS Center. For your GPS, the address is 480 Duckers Road, Midway, KY 40347.
When does the conference start and end and when do doors open?
The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end around 2:00 p.m. The doors will open at 8:00 a.m.
What should I know about parking?
We have plenty of on-site parking available. Because some spaces are farther from the conference entrance, parking attendants and shuttle service will be available beginning at 8:00 AM. Shuttles will also run at the conclusion of the day to assist you back to your vehicle.
Can I reserve a specific table or seat?
No, all tickets for the conference are general admission and we cannot save specific tables or seats. To have a greater choice of seats or to find seats for your group all together, we recommend arriving early to the conference. The doors will open at 8:00 a.m.
How should I dress?
Casual and comfortable. You will be sitting in a folding chair at a round table.
We will do our best to keep the room at a temperature comfortable for everyone, but if you know you are often cold or warm, you may want to dress in layers so you can adjust as needed.
Will there be food?
Yes. Lunch is catered by Chicken Salad Chick, and you’ll choose your preference when registering. A grab-and-go breakfast will also be available in the morning.
Guests with special dietary needs are welcome to bring their own food. Please note that refrigeration will not be available.
Is childcare offered?
No, we are not able to offer childcare during Devoted.
Can I bring my baby?
Childcare will not be available. Nursing infants are welcome; however, if your baby becomes unsettled during a session, we kindly ask that you step out briefly so everyone can remain fully engaged.
Do you offer accessibility accommodations?
Yes. The conference venue is fully accessible, including designated parking and accessible entrances and restrooms. If you have specific needs or questions, please reach out ahead of time—we are happy to help.
Will there be a photo opportunity?
Yes, a photographer will be available before and after the event to capture you and/or your group in a fun and memorable setting.
What should I bring?
Come with an expectant heart, ready for what the Lord has for you. We’ll provide a pen and note pages for the day, but you’re welcome to bring your Bible or journal if you’d like.
What can I expect from this experience?
We have been praying that you will experience a powerful encounter with the Lord. There will be praise and worship, Spirit-led speakers sharing messages of faith, hope, healing, love, and peace, along with meaningful moments of fellowship and conversation with other women.
Will there be conference shirts and sweatshirts this year?
Yes! You can purchase them at the conference.
Will the conference be recorded?
Portions of Devoted may be recorded and shared online at a later date. By attending, you acknowledge that photography and video recording may take place.
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another guest if you’re unable to attend. Just let us know ahead of time so we can update our records.
How does the waitlist work if tickets sell out?
If tickets sell out, a waitlist will open. As tickets become available due to transfers or cancellations, they will be released in order to those on the waitlist.
When a ticket becomes available, you will receive an email from Eventbrite. You will have 12 hours to claim the ticket before it is offered to the next person in line.
Because ticket availability depends on cancellations and transfers, we are not able to provide an exact timeframe for when a ticket may become available. We encourage you to monitor your email closely if you join the waitlist.
What if I can’t find my ticket?
If you’ve misplaced your ticket, try searching your email for a message from Eventbrite. You can also log into your Eventbrite account to access your registration.
No physical ticket is required for check-in—we can look you up by name when you arrive.
Additionally, Eventbrite will send a reminder email with your ticket attached the day before the conference.
